Everything you need to know before you hit the water.
All you need is a valid driver's license or photo ID with address, and a credit or debit card to authorize the security deposit and fuel charge ($2,000 per boat, $1,000 per jet ski). That hold is released when you return the unit minus fuel used. The jet skis have storage for towels, bags, and phones — but since water can get in, we recommend putting electronics in a plastic bag.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your booking starts. That gives us time to get through the paperwork and orientation without cutting into your time on the water.
You must be 18 years old or older to rent a watercraft with S&P Rentals LLC.
No. We issue one-day licenses for all renters, so no boater education card is required.
Cancel at least 5 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations 4 days or less before your booking are subject to a 50% fee. Cancellations within 24 hours do not qualify for a refund.
All watercrafts are required to have a fire extinguisher, at least one life jacket per person on board, and a noise-producing device. We provide all required safety equipment at the time of rental.
There is a public parking lot at Sportcraft Marina, but it can fill up on busy days. We encourage carpooling and using rideshare apps like Lyft or Uber when possible.
It is illegal to operate a watercraft under the influence. Any watercraft with alcohol on board must have a designated driver who does not consume any alcohol or substances.
Please be back on time out of respect for other renters. Any return 15 minutes or more past your scheduled end time will be charged the equivalent of one additional hour for every 30 minutes late.
It can take up to 5–7 business days for the hold to drop off your card, though it is often faster.
Weekends book up fast in July and August. Lock in your date before someone else does.
